You know what would make the 2030 even better? A pointing stick!

Hi all!

I recently tried a thinkpad laptop and think that the pointing stick is a really nice idea. If the next iteration of the typematrix keyboard would feature a pointing stick, I would not hesitate to buy it. I think that just between the backspace and the enter key would be the best place to put it. What do you think?

I don't like the idea, I'm a no mouse man, so I see your point, but, isn't the keypad enough ?

I'm agree with cbrunos, I have a thinkpad, and I use the pointing stick all the time! I actually disabled the touchpad from bios so I don't have to be worry abut touching it while I am typing... I think pointing stick is much better for these reasons:
1) it is much more accurate (with customized settings)
2) it is faster (you do not have to move your hand to get to touchpad)
3) it is more ergonomic because you have to move your hands less...
